PlaqueWorks Plaque Review and Giveaway!

Posted on October 1, 2010 at 7:30 AM

I love the Fall Season because of all the Holidays. Holidays make a great time to take memorable pictures.  It is the time of year when the entire family is finally together all at the same place.  When I was contacted by PlaqueWorks for a review I was very happy, because this is another way for me to share great pictures.

About PlaqueWorks

Imagine capturing special moments – weddings, anniversaries, birth announcements, birthdays, family reunions, and photos with Santa – and taking the picture and turning it into a beautiful piece of art that will last a lifetime. PlaqueWorks makes extraordinary moments come to life with the latest in technology so that you can design your very own PhotoPlaque AND include a personal inscription to make it even more special.

The PlaqueWorks process is simple. Users go to PlaqueWorks.com, upload a photo from their desktop or Facebook, select a plaque background theme and add a personal inscription. Plaque background themes include simple solids, wood grains and highly designed occasion-specific backgrounds created by artists exclusively for PlaqueWorks. A categorized online library of personal inscription suggestions is also available. For added customer service, PlaqueWorks offers a complimentary Plaque Concierge™. The Plaque Concierge is available toll-free by telephone or by live online chat to answer technical or service questions or to help visitors choose the perfect background theme or craft the perfect personal message. The result: a distinctive, handcrafted plaque shipped in a beautiful box within days of placing an order that promises to be a treasure kept forever.

The plaques from PlaqueWorks come in three sizes:

  • Small 10.4 in x 8.8 in
  • Medium 12.8 in x 10.8 in
  • Large 16 in x 13.5 in

My Thoughts:

I had never ordered a plaque before but at PlaqueWorks it was very easy.  Pick your theme, select  and upload which picture you want on your plaque.  Select your size and what you want it to say and that is it. Its actually real fast.  When my plaque arrived I almost cried.  When me and my husband got married we could not afford any of the photos so we just had family and friend take pictures.  I never had a photo album made or any large prints made either.  This plaque is so beautiful and made very well.  I just love it.  I Love how you can add a few words for everyone to see and they also add words behind the plaque which can be a little more private.  I add the lyrics from our wedding song to the back of my plaque. This is truly a great memorable gift for anyone and for any occasion.

I chose the large plaque.

Buy it:

You can purchase your very own plaque from the PlaqueWorks website prices range from $49-$99 depending on size.

Win it:

PlaqueWorks has generously agreed to give one lucky winner a plaque of their own. (Any size)

Take a look at the PlaqueWorks website and tell me what is your Plaque Worthy moment and which plaque theme you will choose if you win.

A PlaqueWorthy moment is any moment, event, milestone or memory worthy of commemorating with a plaque. Limited only by one’s imagination, PlaqueWorthy moments include significant or life-changing events such as weddings, births, graduations, reunions, retirements, anniversaries or big accomplishments like a purchase of a new home; or they can be as simple as a moment captured in a photo that when preserved as a beautiful PhotoPlaque will remind you of a special time with teammates, colleagues, or loved ones.

I would choose the Fall Harvest plaque, and I would place a picture I took of my girls last year playing in the leaves. I love it and it's a perfect way to capture that moment in time. Thanks! mommy saves at yahoo dot com

I would love to have a Dog's life Plaque. I had a little Yorkie that died at 2 1/2 from a terrible accident. He was my best little buddy and I miss him so much.

I think i would pick the classic Black. I would use a photo taken from our family vacation to the grand canyon to make a plaque for my husband's desk at work.
